Kodachrome 40

Colour – Silent 50ft
Daylight Balanced: 40 ASA

This stock was discontinued in 2005 and processing for this filmtype was discontinued on 30th December 2010 in the USA.

The development of k40 (slide film & cine film) was extremely complex
(14 stages or so compared to 1 or 2 for Ektachrome and black&white).

As a matter of fact, Ektachrome 100D often has richer colours than K40 and is easier to shoot,
so it's time to move on I suppose.
